The guild started in Sept 1984, thus 2009 is our guild's 25th anniversary.
The guild is open to new members - we welcome anyone who is a quilter or would like to learn about quilting. We have members from all over the Upper Ottawa Valley. The guild offers presentations by guest teachers, a well stocked quilting library, the opportunity to participate in a mystery quit, a charity quilt, Secret Sisters, and Show and Tell.
We meet monthly on the third Tuesday at the Pembroke Outdoor Sportsman's Club on County Road 26 (Doran Road). Doors open at 6:30 pm and the meeting starts at 7pm.
Membership fees are $25 per year but if you join in September you pay $20. New members only pay $20 in their first year.
Raffle tickets for this quilt will likely go on sale sometime in the fall. Contact Laura Boksman for information.

For the 25th anniversary year, the president has challenged the guild - she feels we should have a new guild quilt that will be displayed at every meeting, by hanging it in front of the "head" table. The challenge this year is to design the new display quilt. The attached document provides the guidelines. One design was submitted at the November meeting. It will be presented at the February meeting.
